Can African American women use hot rollers?

Posted by guest on Fri, Oct 24th, 2008
I usually blow dry my shoulder length hair and curl it with a curling iron every morning. My head sweats at night so I have to straighten it out and re-curl. My hairdresser said that this would break my hair off. I thought hot rollers may be another way to use, but I don't know anything about them.

Looking for some advices on how to use the hair rollers. Are they damaging to African American hair? And a suggestion for a brand. Thanks!

Yes. Some of my friend use hair rollers. Getting a wet set which elderly woman usually get on your hair, they can give you curls for days with only a touch up here and there, you could do with your curling iron.

Get a relaxer in your hair, it could help with the time and energy plus save your arms from falling asleep while you are blow drying and rolling....
