I have had my original chi flat iron for 3yrs, but because of taking good care of it, it still works amazingly. Sometimes I travel with it, and my daughter would like to use it to straighten her hair for the change occasionally, but of course she loves her wavy hairstyle. No like other users’ troubles, my flat iron hasn’t frizzed my hair and no any electrical shortage in the past 3yrs, it’s really great, maybe I just got the good luck to get a real product, aha~~ well, the other important thing is that the straightened hair stays long through the day, that’s really amazing, no need to worry about getting curly again. I love it, and it’s been a good friend in my life, and... I’m pleased to recommend this chi flat iron to anyone who wants to get beautiful straight hair.

RIP OFF

Bought original black Chi iron less than a year ago at Modern Beauty Supplies , Calgary AB. Returned it , they replaced it and then 2 months later they tell me its not the one they sold me, and forced me to pay for the the replacement one. I only had one chi iron. So are they running a scam or Chi ?? Anyone else have this same experience, would love to hear from you.

Can't remember when I bought this chi, 5 or 6 years ago. it works great all the time, glides smoothly and create pin straight hair. I also use it to make curls and come out pretty good. I will stick to CHI.

I was originally sold a fake chi from a beauty supply store in NY. It broke on me and I decided to dish out another lump of money but this time I did my research. Good result, bad cord

Very thick, fizzy and coarse, also very long, that's my hair. So I figure to buy a professional flat iron. CHI is always said to be professional and used in salons. Well, the result is good indeed, but the cord
too fragile! How come a big name as CHI has so cheap quality cord that lasts only several months???

Most of my friends used Chi flat iron. I was told it was worth every penny for its great work. Without hesitating, I purchased this chi flat iron. It really leaves my coarse hair shiny and smooth. But it only worked for about eight months then stopped heating.Worth the money? I don't think so.

I just have this chi flat iron for a period time. When I plan to make date wit my boyfriend, I often use this chi flat iron to deal with my hair. This chi flat iron is suit for straighten, curl, flip and style so that to make me have different impression to my BF. He likes my hair style very much! This is the flat iron which i exactly wanted. I was always worried about my thick and frizzy hair. It took me much time to take care of it every day.But chi flat iron changed everything.Now I can have a shiny,silky and frizz-free hair look easily though the results can't stay for the whole day.
