do i use hair straightener too much?

I love straight hair so I often use hair straightener on my naturally curly hair, sometimes I use it everyday. recently I find my hair more fragile and easy to lose. I begin to worry that maybe I abuse hair straightener. then what's the proper frequency?

oh definitely you can't use it everyday. my stylist told me the heat of a hair straightener is very damaging and suggests me to use it no more than 3 times a week.

never believe that you can use a flat iron everyday.

I use my hair straightener everyday and there's no problem with my hair. but surely you should get a good quality straightener.
