How to Get the Straightest Hair Possible

Posted by Kmm, Nov 6th, 2008

There is a problem with really thick, curly and long hair. when straighten the hair, it does take longer than half an hour, but the effect is not always worth it. How to save the time for straightening this kind of hair?

Here is a method that how to style it:

While the hair is still damp from washing it, apply a straightening cream. You can purchase one from salon. Aveda is a very good one.

Tousle your hair a bit with your towel, to dry it a bit, before you brush it.

Blow dry your hair with a good hairdryer and a paddle brush, until it is completely dry.

When it is completely dry, straighten every piece with a one inch ceramic hair straightener iron. From personal experience, Chi is the best one.

After finished straightening, apply a flexible-hold hairspray and some shine spray. To get the best all over coverage, mix the two in your hands, and run your hands through your hair, instead of directly spraying. Sometimes add a bit of perfume to the mix if the other products don't smell so nice.
