Makeup for Male

Posted by guest on Fri, Dec 12th, 2008

I'm not gay, however I am considering using makeup to give me a decent complexion and cover the bags under my eyes!!!!!!!

I am a 17 years old male, could people advise me on how to this and also could the younger girls/women give there opinion on this.

I use and really like burts bees concealer. The ingredients are castor oil, sunflower oil, beeswax, vitamine E, candelila wax, cucumber extract, rosemary extract, and minerals for the color. It is a cream. I dot it where I need it. I love the stuff. I have very sensitive skin and will brake out with everything else I have tried. They have tinted moisturizers, but I have not terried them yet, I am happy with the concealer.

Natural does not always mean better, there are many ingrediants found in nature that can be VERY irratating to the skin.

Many people have this itching issue with the minerals make up.I believe it's because it contains talc. There are some that don't contain talc which I remember seeing in another thread somewhere.

I can't use the mineral make-up myself. It makes me itchy and makes my already shiney face look even shinier.

I don't see any reason why you shouldnt be a ble to wear makeup. For undereye circles you'll want a color corrector. Something like benefits lemonaid(a yellow based powder) will help mask dark circles. The same for your complexion. Yellow helps counter the any redness(hyperpigmentation, acne, birthmarks) and dark circles. You don't need heavy makeup, maybe just an allover light correcting powder or even just a concealer for spot checking. I don't wear full makeup. But I do use a yellow based concealer to hide any imperfections. That way I dont have an obvious all over makeup look.Good luck
