Beside permanent waves, there are a few methods to get the curly hair: You can use a hair roller set on wet hair and dry the hair while rolled or wrap the hair with hot rollers on dried hair, or using a curling iron to create curls.
If you want to create the curls with a heated appliance, like: curling iron or hot rollers, make sure the hair is completely dry before using a curling iron or hot rollers. If the hair is damp and wet, the curling iron will simply “boil” the moisture out of the hair and damage the iron in the process, the hot rollers will not work and the hair will fall flat. Never use a hot appliance on wet or damp hair.
