The difference between a regular hair dryer and a diffuser

I was wondering has anyone ever used a hair dryer diffuser? What's the difference between a regular hair dryer and a diffuser? Thanks!

Diffuser is used mostly on curly hair flip hair upside down and push diffuser up into curls, kinda like a scrunching effect. this helps give you a better curl with less frizz. the diffuser is an attachment that is round with a lot of hols in ti, you place it on the end of your blow dryer.

a diffuser attaches to the hair dryer and focuses the heat on one area at a time. it helps reduce the damage and frizziness
