what's the best setting to blow dry coarse hair

my hair is long and thick and coarse. for so many years I've been straightened and curled it frequently so it's quite damaged. My question is I bought a dryer that has 6 speed/heat settings. I wonder what's the best for me.
you should take good care of your hair. blow dryer would not make it better or worse I think.
you should use the lowest heat, but speed doesn't matter much I think. my hair is also very coarse,I use high speed and the cold shot button.
